A forensic artist and illustrator, Bill is well known in the highly competitive field of UFO artistry. His lectures are centered on his ten years of research into several historic UFO cases, including Roswell, and cases involving eleven different alien species.  Having been an undercover private investigator for over fourteen years, He is committed to using correct detective methods and standards in how he collects evidence and in how he elicits testimonies from the many military, intel, aviator (Military and civilian pilots), and science professionals and retirees he has consistently interviewed.  Bill also works with ordinary civilians from the US and many other countries, all of whom provided good descriptions of UFOs and their occupants. Bill McDonald's Biographical Information
 

Bill McDonald's educational background is in the fields of military aviation via the both USMC and the California Army National Guard; combined with forensic anthropology as an artist.   His work experience was as an undercover private investigator for over twelve years, working for private agencies working with major metropolitan police departments, federal agencies and the military.   This work was concurrent with his service in the Marines and the Guard.  At the same time he was a precision fantasy, technical, scientific and commercial illustrator who fell into forensics as far back as high school.

McDonald received his BA Degree from Cal State Fullerton in Criminal Justice.  Additional studies included sociology, bio-sociology, deviant psychology and forensic anthropology.

He specializes in using correct investigative methods to conduct interviews with key specific witnesses in both criminal and paranormal cases, and the correct forensic procedures for rendering composite illustrations based on physical evidence and/or cooberated testimonies that can be used for legal inquest, commercial media, or paranormal &UFO related case research.

He was an undercover private investigator with the Phalanx Agency and commercial illustrator for twelve years while concurrently serving in the United States Marine Corps and later with the California Army National Guard.   He spent two more years with W.E. Holland and Associates/The Emerald Group as an undercover private investigator.

He served with LAPD and with Phalanx in a number of LAPD/Continental Cable Vision community relations cable television programs for the Los Angeles city area from 1986 to 1990.   These programs, conceived by his old boss, Victor Reubens Mendosa, were the pioneering inspiration for a number of police "Ride-a-long" TV shows which sprang up in the early 1990s on regular network television and in syndication.   "Cops, Stories of the Highway Patrol, LAPD: Life on the Beat," etc. etc.

He's worked as a police sketch artist volunteer on homicide cases for LAPD's old South Bureau until 1998.

His work was adapted to rendering conceptual design for motion pictures, television, magazines and books.   He designed and rendered all spacecraft versions used in the SHOWTIME telefilm "Roswell."   A second independent film "Gemini Encounters" immediately followed.   His artwork and interviews have been seen on multiple segments of "Sightings, Encounters," and "Strange Universe."   He consulted for both NBC series,"The Other Side," and "Unsolved Mysteries." Numerous cable channel and network specials followed including TNT's "The Secret KGB UFO Files."   His work is in several videos and dozens of magazines and in numerous books.

Aside from his seven years spent on the Roswell case, he also turned the forensic approach on to Lloyd Pye's two "StarChild" Skulls.   The final versions of the living faces of the purported human/alien hybrid and it's purported "Mother" were completed on the first of May, 1999.

Bill provides concept designs, and story conceptual consultations to motion picture producers, directors and writers.  For book editors and authors, he provides services as illustrator and vett editor (An editor who reads and comments on a script, screenplay or manuscript for historical accuracy and scientific content).    Many of his current clients and associates hail from the science fiction genera because of their desire to create more realistic intellectual properties.

The Argonaut-Grey Wolf Productions company web site (AlienUFOart.com)   was co-founded with and designed by his wife, Lori Marie McDonald.   This URL and the associated commercial on-line family business remains the primary point of contact for Bill and Lori McDonald in regards to their on-going research into all things paranormal.

The name "Argonaut" derives from Bill's former "Call sign" artist pseudonym which was chosen because in the Greek myths, Jason's Argonauts were the collective heroes of the ancient world--The world's first Marines--Privateers adventuring on the sea, the land, and always looking to the skies.   "Grey Wolf" was the name given to Bill as a small child learning to handle rattlesnakes by the late Chief Clarence Lobo of the Ajhachema tribe (Juaninios) of San Juan Capistrano, California, and his sister, Marguerite.   A Sioux tribal elder, and a Hopi tribal elder also independently identified Bill as "Grey Wolf."

Bill's on-going research is divided into two wings:   Rendering detailed forensic-style illustrations of cryptozoological subjects, sightings of or encounters with UFO aerospace craft or their flight crew occupants from direct witness testimonies, and in the compilation of a complex historical chronological timeline showing the careers of all major identified American military officials possibly involved with the Roswell crash retrieval and/or other military linked UFO encounter cases in association with the key historic events in a clear chronological timeline.  This complex timeline of human technological evolution is maintained and compilation continues and is kept available for referance to fellow research colleagues, writers & authors, editors, producers, teachers and students. Davis.   This "Quid-pro-quo relationship also is maintained with retired aerospace programs manager Dr. Robert M. Wood and his Majestic Documents research organization.  Bill has established a research sharing cross-consulting relationship with John Schuessler's Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) International.   Bill considers Mr. Schuessler as a respected advisor.

With regards to the Steve Alten sci-fi books, Bill provided some concept design illustrations for Steve's "Hammerhead" minisub configurations, the gigantic Leviathan class "Boomer" missile submarine Goliath, the Tezcatilpoca feathered serpent wormhole aliens who evolved from future cetaceans, their giant iridium "Egg"-like artificial moon starships, the prehistoric Nephilim star cruiser Balam, and the Loch Ness Monster based upon the author's wish to use the giant thick-bodied eels with various tumors and mutations brought on by off-shore oil drilling and chemical spills poisoning the seas surrounding the United kingdom.   Bill illustrated some of the Paracas culture desert images scraped onto the coastal desert Nazca plain in Peru.  He also vett edited the above-listed books for Steve.   A few of Bill's design illustrations are published in those books and are used in various promotions to negotiate future movie deals from these books.

Recently, Bill helped sci-fi author Steve Alten visualize the Balam, an ancient Nephilim star cruiser that is also a dimensional slider, a wormhole surfer, and a "Timeship." Bill is currently designing and assembling the entire ancient antediluvian Nephilim fleet--The "Vihmanas"--The ancient space vessels that established the most ancestral Sumerian colonies on Mars and the same vessels which later evacuated Mars around 5000 years ago.
